If you think netbook computers as the baby brother of a notebook, then you can consider Kensington's K72345US, http://us.kensington.com/html/17154.html, as a full-size mouse's little sibling as well. It is meant to pair with a netbook but works with any computer with an available USB port. And it works straight out of the box that the only things in it is the tiny mouse with 2 AAA batteries, the nano receiver, a quick start guide and the warranty. The nano receiver is small enough that you can leave it in and only slightly protrudes from your computer that it doesn't pose as an obstruction when you put the netbook into your case and ready when you power it on next.

The mouse itself is probably not for everyone especially those with bigger hands. But kids and people with small hands might find this a nice fit. It can sit comfortably under your two fingers and you can maneuver easily by planting the other fingers around it. What was truly helpful was that it works with Windows and Linux-based netbooks. Not sure if it will work with Macs but it should based on our experience so far. It's around $20 online and a sure win for those who love compact things.

Today’s high definition camcorders tend to use a ton of memory. Kingston has come up with this 32 GB SDHC class 4 memory card that will satisfy that need. On a recent trip to Hawaii using it with Sanyo HD Camcorder resulted in hours of HD recording and the transfer rate from the camcorder to a computer was very fast. You can check out the company’s site at http://www.kingston.com/flash/sdhc.asp.

The best price for this card was $84 as of this writing. This is the lowest price of any 32 GB SDHC class 4 memory card on the market now so this is a great deal.

What a great idea. Go to the iFrogz at http://ifrogz.com/earpollution and you can pick the headband, sidepieces, hinges, speakers, artwork and ear cushions color and/or pattern. So you can have your own unique headphones for just 34.99 plus shipping. The sound quality might surprise you for the price you pay. I liked the way it fit and that it was unique. This makes for a nice gift for the person who like personalized items and it does not cost a fortune.

So your little speaker in your PDA or DVD player just does not hack it. The iSP100 is
supposed to help you out. Check out the specifications at
http://www.i-luv.com/product_detail.asp?idx=1204. This is a very compact 2 speaker system that runs on 3 AAA batteries. Not only does it have on/off button but a Volume + or - to adjust the volume. A nice touch in such a small device. It comes in a carrying bag and the cord actually wraps around the unit for storage. Tried it with MP3's on a Sansa View, turned the volume up to max and it delivered a nice sound, which was surprising considering the size. Some pieces of music that have more bass did cause a vibration noise in the unit. To resolve this adjust the bass down. Otherwise the unit performed well and got a lot of use. Brand new it is $25 on the Internet; $18 used on Amazon.com. Does its job for what it was intended for.

Lenmar has long been known for batteries and charging solutions and these two devices show why. Check out their site for specification http://www.lenmar.com/Web/Main.aspx?MenuID=4&EntityID=33&ResourceID=51.

The Universal Charging Station is a really cool device. It allows you to charge 6 devices that have USB tips or even one of the optional tips that come with the unit. We used the tips for Samsung phones and a USB tip for a Blackberry. It is really cool to see 6 devices being charged on one station. In the top of the unit it has a storage area for tips. It has 4 corded ports that use adapters and 2 USB port that you plug in your own USB adapters that came with your devices.

The Portable Mini-USB Charger is a great way to carry emergency power for your portable device. You charge it from a USB port which mean you can even charge it on the Universal Charging Station. It comes with a mini USB adapter but can use the adapters the come with the Universal Charging Station. Just remember to plug it in to keep it fully charged. The Mini USB charger is something you can keep in your computer bag or in your pocket when you plan to be away from an outlet for very long. It is good enough for at least one full charge and then some.

The Universal Charging Station is $42 on eCost and the Mini USB Charger is at Target for $15.
